Dr. Yu Xuejun, Vice Minister, National Health Commission, China. Dr. Yu Xuejun’s mandate covers population affairs, planning and information and health emergencies. He started his career in 1990 in the China Population Information Center and served as Director from 2003 to 2004. Subsequently he served as DG of Law and Legislation, DG of Planning and Information, NPFPC from 2004 to 2013; DG of the General Office, DG of Planning and Information, NHFPC from 2013 to 2018; DG of Planning and Information, NHC from 2018 to 2019.  He holds a doctoral degree in law. He studied economics at the Economic School of Peking University from 1983 to 1990.
