Nadine Gasman

Nadine Gasman Zylbermann is president of the National Women's Institute. With, a PhD in Public Health from Johns Hopkins University, tenure in Public Health from Harvard University and an MD from La Salle University and the National Autonomous University of Mexico, she has an outstandingly broad and solid professional career, national and international, of more than three decades in the areas of planning, design, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of public policies, programs and projects on gender equality, the prevention of violence against women and economic and political empowerment of women.

Her long-standing career also includes extensive work in different countries in the academic and social fields, with direct work in the field, where she has led participatory and inclusive processes aimed at promoting the empowerment of women, as well as to develop policies for institutional strengthening and innovation with a gender, human rights and intercultural perspective.
