Marevic is the Executive Director at Women's Global Network for Reproductive Rights (WGNRR), a southern-based global network that strengthens movements for the promotion and  advancement of sexual & reproductive health and rights (SRHR) and justice. Marevic joined WGNRR in August 2009 as Programme Staff and in April 2010, she assumed the Asia Regional Coordinator position. Marevic led the implementation of the Safe Abortion Advocacy Project in Asia particularly in Pakistan, Nepal, and Malaysia. The project enhanced the capacity of grassroots organisations to undertake safe abortion advocacy and established national networks to address abortion stigma at multiple levels. She also led the linking learning platform for safe abortion advocates from DRC, Indonesia, Burkina Faso, Kenya, Nepal, Malaysia, Netherlands  Nigeria, Pakistan, Peru, Tanzania and Uganda. In 2015, Marevic initiated and now coordinates the Philippine Safe Abortion Advocacy Network (PINSAN), a network of human rights advocates including representatives from women and human rights organisations, lawyers, and youth networks openly working on the issue of abortion using feminist and human rights standards. Marevic Parcon is a women’s rights activist for over two decades with expertise in gender issues, paralegal work and grassroots community-based training on violence against women and girls, and sexual & reproductive health and rights. She has led and co-organised national and international events on feminist legal framework, militarism and war, globalisation, abortion rights, SRHR, among others. She has presented SRHR issues of marginalised groups in various fora including at the UN. Marevic was a member of the global steering committee of International Network for the Reduction of Abortion Discrimination and Stigma (inroads). She was also a member of the organising committee of the Asia Pacific CSO Forum on Beijing+20 and an International Steering Committee member of the 9th Asia Pacific Conference on Reproductive and Sexual Health and Rights (APCRSHR).
