Tumuheirwe Florence is a residence of Rweikonko village, Kyabuhangwa Parish Kamwezi sub-county in Rukiga district South-western Uganda Founder and Executive Director of Kabale women in development (KWID) an organization that was established in 1996 to empower women and other vulnerable persons to address hindrances to their advancement. KWID has worked in partnership with numerous rights organizations to access services. Presently KWID is working in partnership with Amref Health Africa to implement Health Systems Advocacy Partnership project in Kabale district. Florence is a professional economist with over 25 years of practical experience in community development. Her areas of expertise are community mobilization and empowerment, advocacy and networking, performance monitoring and psychosocial helping. She is a FACILITATOR for civil society empowerment, Community mobilization and empowerment, Citizens voice and action, Change agent, Psychosocial helping skills. She has worked as a community reproductive health worker trained and supported by Care Community Reproductive Health project since 1994 to-date.
