Liudmila Vauchok

Liudmila Vauchok was the flag bearer for Belarus at the opening ceremony of the 2018 Paralympic Winter Games in Pyeongchang. She has received the title of Honoured Master of Sport and the Order of Honour in Belarus. Before her injury, she participated in able-bodied athletics at an international level. She competed in rowing at the Paralympic Games in 2008, 2012 and 2016, and in biathlon in 2006 and cross-country skiing in 2006, 2010, 2014, 2018 at the Paralympic Winter Games. She has also been national champion in pairs wheelchair dancing in Belarus. Her most memorable sporting achievement was winning one gold medal and three silver medals in cross-country skiing at the 2006 Paralympic Winter Games in Turin.
