Youth engagement on the road to Nairobi

Young people’s perspectives and leadership are essential to the success of the Nairobi Summit. ICPD25 provides an opportunity for meaningful dialogue between activists of different generations, across sectors, to catalyze collaboration and action, and articulate the ICPD agenda’s relevance today.

The views and voices of youth – in particular marginalized and vulnerable youth – will echo in plenaries and panels, including those relating to sexual and reproductive health and rights, comprehensive sexuality education, preventing gender-based violence and harmful practices, and youth leadership. The engagement of youth before and during the Summit enables the incorporation of their inputs into its planning and outcomes.

ICPD25 partners will share and showcase work with adolescents and youth to fulfill the ICPD Programme of Action. Click here to learn more about how youth engagement is taking place at the Nairobi Summit.
