TIME TO ACTION.
Commitment description:Policy formulation is a process the consumes a lot of finances, time and very tiresome. So many policies have been developed both at the national and County government that are responding to adolescent and young people needs. Sadly these documents ends up in the shelves of the government offices nothing is being done after development of these document/policies. Its high time we start implementing these policies for us to achieve our goals. And it is through advocating for this when every stakeholder will align their work in response to specific policies.
Modes of engagement:
- Policy and guidanceAdvocating for policy reviews and reforms that are responsive to adolescents and young people needs through engaging both national, county governments and all stakeholders.
- Programmatic actionAdvocating for the implementation of policy documents responding to adolescent and young people needs by the county governments and all stakeholders.
Draw on demographic diversity to drive economic growth and achieve sustainable development(8) Investing in the education, employment opportunities, health, including family planning and sexual and reproductive health services, of adolescents and youth, especially girls, so as to fully harness the promises of the demographic dividend.
