Strengthen knowledge translation between academics and policy makers by 2020 to build evidence based SRHR policies

Commitment description:

As an international research platform ANSER commits to foster interaction and knowledge sharing between academics and policy makers to accelerate the ICPD promises. The members will do so through cutting-edge joint research projects, weighing in on current policy debates and hosting innovative training programs. - In November 2019 ANSER and UNFPA EECARO will organize a conference bringing together researchers and EECARO country representatives to strengthen capacities and share experiences in the adoption and utilization of quality assurance checklist and the monitoring tool.
- By the end of 2020 ANSER will have provided technical support to at least 5 EECA countries developing or updating their SRHR national action plans in setting up and implementing of the quality assurance process through practical application of quality assurance checklist and the monitoring tool.
- By the end of 2020 ANSER will expand its membership within Eastern Europe and Central Asia, involving academic institutions and civil society organisations working on SRHR policy from the region
