The Guyana Responsible Parenthood Association commits to increasing access to Sexual and Reproductive Health Services

We commit to strengthening our partnership with the Ministry of Public Health.  We commit to increasing access to  Sexual and Reproductive Health services particularly in under-served areas.  We commit to increasing the number of persons who have access to safe abortion services.  We commit to closing the unmet need for contraceptives in Guyana.  We commit to increasing our mental health support to victims of gender based violence, youth and persons who are forcibly displaced.

We commit to working with the Ministry of Education, parents and the faith-based communities to improve access to comprehensive sexualtiy education. We commit to increasing the number of youth advocates in decision making spaces on sexual and reproductive health and rights.

Finally we commit increasing our efforts to hold our govenment accountable to implementing the ICPD  Programme of Action.

Mode of engagement:

  We deliver CSE content to schools and communities. We deliver SRH services inclusive of safe abortion to communities inclusive of under-served communities. We deliver mental health support to GBV survivors, youth, and migrants.
