Financial contribution
Commitment description:In addition, and specifically with regard to the 25th anniversary of the International Conference on Population and Development, the Luxembourg Development Cooperation allocates an additional financial contribution of 50.000 EUR to the organization of the Nairobi conference. This amount will be complemented by reprogramming the total amount remaining from past programmes and projects of 58.612,25 USD, thus allocating a total additional contribution of more than 100.000 EUR to the organization of the ICPD Nairobi Summit.

Mobilize the required financing to finish the ICPD Programme of Action and sustain the gains already made(7) Increasing international financing for the full, effective and accelerated implementation of the ICPD Programme of Action, to complement and catalyze domestic financing, in particular of sexual and reproductive health programmes, and other supportive measures and interventions that promote gender equality and girls’ and women’s empowerment.
