Ensure the production of reliable statistical information on the intensive migration phenomena that Colombia has been facing since 2017, to promote the formulation of public policies for the full integration of the migrant population
Commitment description:As part of the Mesa Interinstitucional de Estadísticas de Migración, DANE will coordinate the establishment of an information system to collect and centralize administrative records and the information produced by other government bodies on the migrant population in Colombia, so that the information system will be fully operational by 2022. This will make it possible to correct the asymmetry in information on this population and will result in the formulation of public policies aimed at integrating the migrant population with a focus on equal opportunities.
