Eliminate sexual and gender-based violence

Commitment description:

To prevent various forms of violence against women and to complement the limitations of individual laws on sexual violence, domestic violence, etc., the government will establish a Basic Plan on the Prevention of Violence against Women based on the related Framework Act which enters into force in December 2019. The government will also annually evaluate the implementation plans of central and local governments in order to build a platform for comprehensive and systematic policy implementation to eliminate sexual and gender-based violence, with no blind spots left unaddressed.
