Commitment title:

Comprehensive Sexual Education for young people in Mexico

Commitment description:

We commit to provide comprehensive sexual education and counseling in sexual health to young people in Mexico through the funding and expansion of our 3 programs:

- Hablemos de Sexo y Amor - A digital community and network supporting safe, healthy and pleasurable love, sex and relationship for young people. We provide online CSE contents , through our website hablemosdesexo.com, our social media and our online platforms reaching over 4,000,000 young people per year. This program is the Spanish version and part of the Love Matters Global Network. We operate at the intersection of (digital) media and content, and popular culture to spark social transformation advancing the fulfilment of young people's SRHR. We put the control in young people's hands. They can access our online channels and forums anonymously, privately, and whenever they want to. That way, they can get the information they need while bypassing traditional gatekeepers.

- PARESS 2030 - In the context of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, a roadmap focused on people, the planet, prosperity with a sustainable vision, using the model established by UNESCO, with the goal of endorsing the reduction of unwanted pregnancy in adolescents and young people.Pregnancy among adolescents and young people represents a high priority as a public health problem and has important social consequences, even though Mexico is one of the countries with one of the most structured and complete legislations, these programs must be supported and promoted with actions such as Integrated Education for Sexual Health. PARESS is a peer model program of comprehensive sexual education reaching YP in schools in alliance with UNFPA, RB, INEGI, IPN .

- Generacion Viva - reaches students in 19 states providing workshops given by profesional sexual educators since 2012 in alliance with MAC Viva Glam Fund. Our model is based on UNESCO Reccomendations for CSE and includes training to teachers and parents.
