Athlete Special Olympics Kenya

Shalel Tenah is an athlete of Special Olympics Kenya from Nairobi County since 2012. Straight on, Shalel joined the swimming group and in September 2012, she represented Kenya in her first International swimming championships in San Juan, Puerto Rico.
Shalel was part of the of the 68 athletes from Special Olympics Kenya 2015 national team who travelled to the Special Olympics World Summer Games in USA, Los Angeles. The teams displayed a stellar performance and bagged 12 Gold medals, 2 silver and 2 Bronze medals in 6 sports. In Abu Games in 2019 Shalel participated in cycling and won a gold medal.
