In 2006 Natalie graduated from BA (Hons) Fashion & Design, Limerick School of Art & Design, by 2007 she was studying on the MA Fashion in Womenswear at Central Saint Martins under the tutelage of the late Louise Wilson. In 2019, Natalie completed a Masters in Philosophy specialising in Gender and Women’s studies from Trinity College Dublin. In 2011, Natalie set up a studio and launched her eponymous label. Her collections play on feminine silhouettes with humorous and sometimes subversive illustrative prints and motifs. Natalie’s work pivots between tradition and innovation. In 2013 Natalie became the first Irish designer ambassador to Microsoft Ireland. In 2011 Natalie published An Archive with renowned graphic designer Paul Bailey. The book was
specially commended at the Best British Book Design and Production Awards and was bought by London College Of Fashion as part of their permanent library. Over the past seven years Natalie has received industry accolades including The Image Magazine Women in Business Creative Category 2013, Golden Egg Innovation Award for Designer of The Year 2012, Kerry Fashion Awards Irish Designer of The Year 2012 and Winner of Future Makers Award 2012, Irish Design Awards Designer of the year 2019 and IDI gold and bronze winner 2019 as well as Tatler Woman of the Year in the Designer Category 2019. For Autumn/Winter 2019 the label partnered with the United Nations Population Fund on a collaborative SISTERS collection. The title SISTERS is influenced by the powerful bonds that exist between women and girls in our contemporary global society and the partnership wishes to emphasise the importance of sisterhood in times of rapid and turbulent social change. The collection symbolises the collaborative power of sisterhood: the coming together of women to mobilise and build support systems – to fulfil the promise of rights and choices for all. Natalie’s collections have gained her recognition from both Irish and international fashion press and buyers. Her collections have been featured in magazines such as Harper’s Bazaar, Self, Grazia, Marie Claire, Vogue, Hunger and Cosmos. In addition to owning and running a successful label Natalie is also a fashion design lecturer at the National College of Art & Design, Dublin. Natalie lives in Dublin with her baby son Odin and her daughter Eden.
