Sika Bella Kaboré
First Lady Government of Burkina Faso

H.E. Kaboré completed her master's degree in law at the University of Lomé, then moved to France to continue her studies at the University of Burgundy. She moved to Burkina Faso during the 1980s, where she joined the Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI) in Ouagadougou as a legal studies officer. In 2006, Kaboré became head of the KIMI Foundation, which provides preventative healthcare services to Burkinabé women and children. By 2015, she was a member of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry's (CCI) executive committee. She became the First Lady of Burkina Faso on December 2015, following her husband's victory in the November 2015 presidential election. In addition to her professional career, H.E. has been a strong advocate for the well-being of women and girls, focusing on advocating and enhancing living conditions for women and girls in Burkina Faso and ensuring their rights and needs are met, their physical being and integrity are protected, access to health services is provided, and participation in the economy is enabled.
