Baroness Sugg has been the Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State at the Department for International Development since April 2019. She is the lead Minister for DFID’s Inclusive Societies work, which is made up of civil society, Leave No One Behind, diaspora, social protection, disability, gender, ageing, faith, LGBT and VAWG. She is also lead Minister covering the Department’s work to promote safeguarding. Prior to this, she was a Minister at the Department for Transport.
