Contributing to elimination of sexual and gender-based violence and discrimination

Commitment description:

Our organization commits to support better access to and use of services for victims of sexual and gender-based violence in the country. Services that are available include psychosocial, legal and medical support. However, these are not systematized and organized in one functional system. Hence, out aim in collaboration with all relevant service providers, both state and CSO-based, is to establish functional referral system for concerted violence response. At the same time, we will strive to build capacity of vulnerable women’s communities and initiative groups for advocating for their rights. Empowering the women is of utmost importance so that they spread information about existing services for violence resopnse, encourage their communities to use these services and advocate for full implementation of women’s rights on local as well as country levels.
