Commitment description:

The State is committed to: -Adopting the conclusions of the "National Youth Survey, 2018–2019" in order to develop and implement, by 2022, a multidimensional policy on the political, economic and social inclusion of young people, bring youth projects at the local and national levels to the fore, and provide young people with better economic opportunities at the local and regional levels;-Developing a national youth, peace and security strategy in 2020 based on United Nations resolutions 2250 and 2419 reaffirming the important role that young people can play in peacekeeping -Pinpointing sources and disaggregating data with a view to identifying the most vulnerable populations. -Strengthening monitoring of the national strategy for preventing disability and reducing its effects by consolidating the field of scientific research and carrying out studies into disabilities from 2022 onwards, and setting up a research laboratory on this issue within the framework of the International Centre for Research, Studies, Documentation and Training on Disability, "Basma", under the Ministry of Social Affairs.-Developing the participatory and community-based process in order to update and implement the national plan for information, education and awareness-raising on disabilities, as well as the causes of and means of preventing such disabilities.-Carrying out the Programme of Action of the United Nations Security Council resolution 1325 on women's rights, peace and security, with its various sectoral plans and transition into a sectoral plan, and later into a general plan: a village, a life project; -Continuing its efforts to develop a seniors citizens’ code by 2021 and ensure improved universal health coverage for older persons, in accordance with the principles set out in Law No. 94-114 of 31 October 1994 on the protection of older persons.
