Hedia Belhadj

Dr Hedia Belhadj is a senior professional in public health. She served in various positions in United Nations organizations (UNFPA and UNAIDS), where she contributed to the development of national strategies in sexual and reproductive health of number of countries and conducted high-level policy dialogue with inter-governmental bodies. Currently the president of Groupe Tawhida Ben Cheikh, an active member of an African and Arab NGO network promoting the right to health in the 2030 agenda. Dr. Belhadj is holder of a Doctorate in Medicine from Tunis University, and of a Master of Public Health degree from Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health, New York.
