GAADI-TOGO commits to increase public awareness on the sexual and reproductive rights of girls and women with disabilities through promoting success stories of women with disabilities in Togo, who have formed families/couples and/or have children. We have plans to advocate with politicians to bring the legal age of marriage to 20.

Help prevent early marriages and pregnancies involving adolescents aged 10–18

Commitment description:

The Government of Niger, along with the technical support of the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA), has been implementing the Niger Adolescent Girls Initiative “ILLIMIN ZAMAN DUNIA : Knowledge for Dignity" since 2013. This initiative is a major innovation consisting of many interventions that directly target adolescent girls with a view to reducing their vulnerability in an environment overshadowed by significant sociocultural burdens.
